Ordering Repeat Prescriptions Online

We have recently started offering patientsthe service of ordering repeat prescriptions online. Before you can do this you will need to come in to the surgery in person to fill out one of our registration forms. At this point, due to you being given access to the system, you will be asked to provide a form of identification (e.g. passport, driving license).

If you collect your prescriptions from a local pharmacy please specify which pharmacy and branch when placing your order through the website.

Please be aware that repeat prescriptions ordered after 5pm on any weekday will not be processed until the next working day and would therefore not be ready until two full working days after they are processed. We appreciate your patience in these matters.

Patients on long-term medication who are eligible for repeat prescriptions can orderin a number of ways:

  • By Hand – drop your computerised repeat slip in the box provided at reception with the required items clearly marked.
  • By Post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • By Fax – to 0115 9316666
  • Online – follow the link at the top of this page and carry out a simple registration.

Please note that we cannot accept requests over the telephone except from the elderly and infirm.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.


Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and collect after 16:00. please also remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
